Katelyn Brag

We had Katelyn's Parent/Teacher Conference on Monday night. She is doing awesome in school, and we are so proud of her. She read from a higher level book than what she is used to for us. She is doing great with reading, and is starting to read books to us more and more at night. One night she read the entire Cat and the Hat to us! Her teacher said she is doing really well, and she even got all ones for her behavior! That makes us super happy to hear.

It is amazing how much reading opens up their world in every way. She now enjoys games more, reading cereal boxes, signs on the road, and just about anything. It has been a fun new adventure.

She has been growing as a big sister to Mei-Mei too. She really mothered her the weekend I was gone to Florida, and I could see how good that was for both of them. The other night, they both went to "play" in the basement before dinner, and they actually stayed down there for a little while. Josh and I looked at each other and said, "Wow, this is nice, however long it lasts!"

We love you Katelyn, and we are sooo glad that we get to be your Mommy and Daddy!!
