The ladybug. . .

Just to comment on our cute ladybug at the top. . .

It represents Chinese/adoption folklore. The ladybug is considered good luck. So when you see the ladybug, you will have good luck. Apparently if you have a ladybug sighting when you are waiting for your referral, then you will be getting your referral soon. I just think it is a cool symbol of the whole adoption process. So, Ta-Da, that is why the Ladybug.

Also, a book that I have heard much about by MaryBeth and Stephen Curtis Chapman (who have adopted 3 girls from China) touches on this subject. The name is called Shaoey and Dot: Bug Meets Bundle.
